Camión Blindado nº 4/Protected truck nº 4. 1:72

Construido a partir de un chasis de Nash Quad, el camión protegido nº 4 fue uno de los primeros vehículos usados por el Ejército español. Participó activamente en la revuelta minera de Asturias, en el año 1934.
Producido en serie limitada, es mi tercer kit y solo se vende por encargo. Es un kit sencillo con calcas fabricadas por Black Lion .

Produced from a Nash Quad chassis, the protected  truck nº 4 was one of the first vehicles used by the Spanish Army. Participated actively  in the mining revolt of Asturias, in 1934.
Produced in a limited serie, it is my third kit and it is only sold on request. Few pieces with an excellent decals from Black Lion.

 

 

 

How to....... Agujeros alineados/Aligned holes

Tras la pregunta de un modelista en un foro a "como realizar agujeros alineados en una varilla circular", he decido hacer este pequeño paso a paso.
Varilla circular de 1 mm, broca de 0,5 mm. El mismo paso con una varilla cuadrada.
1.- Sobre una cinta adhesiva de doble cara colocamos varias varillas de plastico de 1 mm. Nos serviran como guia y para apoyar una regla.
2.- Realizamos las marcas
3.- Realizamos los agujero
4.- Resultado final.

Following a question from a modeler in a forum, "how to make aligned holes in a circular rod", I have decided to do this small step by step. The same step with a square rod.
Circular rod of 1 mm, 0.5 mm drill.
1. - On a double-side adhesive tape, we put several plastic rods of 1 mm. They will use like a guide and to support a metallic rule.

Después de ciertas complicaciones, he tenido el tiempo suficiente para pintar mi segundo modelo de este vehículo. Como ya comenté, esta versión ha sido pintada en gris medio. Para Torrent, espero tener listos los kits de estas dos versiones.

Hispano Suiza 3T6, pintura/painting. 1:72

Después de estar algo ocupado preparando una pequeña serie de mis dos 3T6, los cuales me gustaría vender en Torrent , he tenido algo de tiempo para pintar el modelo que aparece pasando la frontera francesa en Le Perthus.
Dada la dificultad para conocer el color exacto, y aunque normalmente se dice que el color correcto es el gris, me he decidido por pintar esta versión en verde ruso dejando el gris para el otro modelo.

After I have been very busy preparing a small serie about my two models of 3T6 for be sold in Torrent (if is posible) I have painted the model who was saw in Le Perthus at the end of the SCW.

Because it is dificult to know which was the correct colour I have painted this version in russian green. People say that normally, they were painted in grey so the other version will be painted in grey.

How to....... Árboles/Trees

Seguimos hoy con un nuevo paso a paso de mi amigo Ángel. Como hacer arboles de manera sencilla. Para la construcción del tronco podremos usar tanto una pequeña rama así como plástico u otro material recubierto de masilla.
En este caso, y dada su forma, este tronco se ha construido con plástico y masilla de dos componentes.

La colocación de las hojas se puede hacer de manera sencilla usando spray adhesivo y una mixtura de perejil, orégano y virutas de madera.

The leaves can be made easily using spray adhesive and a mixture of parsley, oregano and sawdust.

Hispano Suiza 3T6, 2ª serie. 1:72

Finalmente, los dos modelos de este vehículo, fabricado por Hispano Suiza, están listos para pintar. Aunque casi todos los estudiosos sobre la guerra civil coinciden en que el color adecuado es el gris, tengo serias dudas al respecto. Pienso que lo más normal es que todos los vehículos fabricados en serie fueran pintados en verde ruso, a diferencia de los construidos y modificados en fabricas por los obreros de las mismas. He consultado a fotógrafos acostumbrados a trabajar en byn, motivo por el aún no están pintados.

 Finally, the two models of this vehicle, manufactured by Hispano Suiza, are ready to paint. Although almost all experts about the SCW are agree that the right color would be grey, I have serious doubts. I think would be natural that all vehicles manufactured in series were painted in Russian green, unlike the models built and modified in factories by the workers of the same.
